Strata Embroidery Sampler - Beginners

A perfect workshop for someone absolutely new to the world of embroidery. You will learn basic embroidery stitches plus a few intermediate stitches. We will works with Perle Cotton, Eleganza in variegates and solids plus try your hand at gorgeous Metallic Twist which will add a little "BLING". This is a very fun, small piece that is full of colour! You will learn how to frame or bind your piece using cotton fabric from your stash at the last class.

Embroidery measures approx 4" x 5"

             Friday 9:30-12:30 (4 sessions

WHERE: The Needle & Thread Emporium, 688 Storyland Rd, Renfrew 

WORKSHOP INCLUDES:

• linen and muslin
• thread kit - highest end hand dyed threads, enough to finish 1 Strata 
• tea, coffee, light snack
• pattern
• full instruction

NOT INCLUDED:

• Notions (scissors, needles etc)
• Practice threads or linen (recommended)
• fabric for binding/backing/finishing
