STRATA EMBROIDERY SAMPLER WORKSHOP

Master abstract, geometric embroidery in this vibrant workshop series! Dive into my original modern Strata design using hand-dyed threads sourced from Germany, Romania, and France. Beginners learn foundational stitches while intermediate and advanced stitchers customize their own bold compositions. Work with luxe materials—Perle Cotton, variegated Eleganza, and shimmering Metallic Twist, glass beads—to create a dazzling, colorful piece. Explore intermediate techniques and stitch variations that elevate your skills. Cap off your creative journey by framing your finished artwork with fabric from your collection. Perfect for stitchers ready to blend technique with artistic flair!

You will learn how to use a light box to transfer/trace your pattern onto your linen.

We will discuss how this small piece of art can be finished/framed etc. Not finished in class.

Enjoy a welcoming, friendly atmosphere where you can come with a friend or come to make new friends!

Choose from approx 4" x 5" or 5x5” pattern

• Notions (scissors, embroidery & milliners needles etc)
• Practice threads
• Practice linen/Kona Cotton  (about 10"x10")
• fabric for binding/backing/finishing
• ribbons/Gimp (used for hanging once finished)
• cheapest cardboard bobbins for your threads that you will be using (Amazon)
