Hand Painted in Germany using a secret technique, Braided Cotton is a softly braided organic cotton tape and can be manipulated to achieve a multitude of amazing textural effects. Braided ribbon can be used as a ribbon or tape, laid flat and adorned with stitchery over, on or around it. Create textural depth by using wrapped stiches or ruche by pulling one of the braided threads and shape into dimensional textural elements.

- Hand Painted, 100% organic cotton
- Use Gold Eye Milliners #15 and Gold Eye Milliners #1
- Always purchase enough of one dye lot to complete your project to ensure there is no variation in your finalized piece. If you require more then I have on hand please feel free to order your appropriate quantities via my "Special Order Form" section. Submit your special order via email.
- Do not wash cold or lukewarm
- wash in the washing machine at 40°
- Do not iron with steam
- Do not leave folded when damp.
- Work spread out on a thick towel and dry as soon as possible.
- If a yarn bleeds: rinse immediately under cold running water ( water must be cold), preferably with a hand shower. Repeat this process with slowly warming water until the color is completely washed out. Wash with a very gentle detergent. The most suitable for this are a shampoo or curd soap.
As with all hand-dyed products, color fastness cannot be guaranteed.
