"Mandala-My-Heart" Workshop - Intermediate

REGISTRATION IS OPEN

A wonderful workshop for the Intermediate Embroiderer. This is a next step to the Strata Sampler for Beginners workshop. Here we will use approximately 7 stitches to create this beautiful Mandala block that I designed. You may not finish your Mandala by the end of the workshop but you will go home with the confidence to continue to the finish. If you are interested in this workshop you must be confident in basic embroidery and know how to stitch a Back Stitch, Running Stitch and Chain Stitch.  You will learn a Colonial Knot, Berry Stitch, Short/Long and Couching. You will work with Perle Cottons and Silk or Crewel Wool If you are a beginner please consider signing up for my Strata Sampler Workshop first!

When: 5-8pm March 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd

If there is inclement weather or unforeseen class cancellation I will add an extra class at the end to make up for a cancelled class.

IMPORTANT: I must have a minimum of 4 attendees to start class. A full refund will be issued on March 1st if workshop is cancelled. 

Workshop Will Include:

• 4 sessions
• pattern
• Essex Linen
• Highest end hand dyed threads. Enough thread to finish your block (as long as there is not excessive waste). Not exact matches to samples but similar. Colours are not predetermined.
  
• stabilizer
• coffee, tea, snack
• practice threads 
• practice fabric 

Does Not Include:

• notions (scissors, needles, hoop)
