Silk Whisper is spun from recycled silk chiffon. A great, unevenly spun fancy yarn that can be used for almost all textile techniques. Nodule stitches, chain stitch tape, weaving tape, application techniques - with the right needle, this becomes child's play.

Due to its short fibers, the yarn can be ruffled selectively. It can be twisted up to cover wider areas. It is also beautiful for needle felting or as an inlay thread for wet felting or tissue paper production.

 A Little About Painters Threads:

Painters Threads colours are made using a very special dyeing technique used for embroidery threads exclusively by House of Textile Arts. The color baths vary colors frequently and surprisingly in Painters Threads.

The yarns and fabrics are dyed individually, each dyeing results in a different picture, each individual part is individual. The embroidered surfaces show a wonderfully subtle and continuous melange of Painters colors, not a repetitive pattern. This makes each project absolutely unique! All colors harmonize uniquely with each other.
