"Learn to Wool Applique" Sip & Stitch with Barb

Would you love to try your hand at wool applique? This is the perfect space for beginners new to the world of wool applique. Or want to learn how to embellish applique using fun stitches and threads.

This fun drop-in is held every Wednesday from 10a.m to 1p.m. It is an open registration meaning you start at anytime and stop at anytime. You just have to register and pay for the day(s) of your choice!

You may want to participate in only one or a few more "Learn to Wool Applique" classes. Register as you go, as you need a little help. There is lots to learn about the world of wool applique and one Sip & Stitch may not be enough.

COST: $10/per day/pp (plus tax)

***Pre-Registering is mandatory before attending as I only have space for 6 attendees****

Learn to:

• trace your pattern
• how to apply the pattern to your wool & to cut your pieces
• read the pattern
• applique your wool pieces
• embellish using fun embroidery stitches (optional)

Sit & Stitch Includes:

• freezer paper during class
• coffee and tea
• 10% off purchases that day (this includes your pattern of choice/wool/threads) ***Does not include already marked down products***
• patterns will be up to the individual to finish at home once the wool applique is finished (such as a pillow or wall hanging). Remember, this is ONLY to receive guidance/help with your wool applique piece.
• One day will not be enough to finish your pattern. 

You Will Need/Not Included in your class:

• pattern of your choice (I will help you choose something beginner friendly if you wish)
• threads & wool (If you prefer I can create a kit for you)
• embellishing threads 
• other notions depending on the pattern
• needles, serrated scissors, or very sharp small scissors. Serrated scissors by KAren K Buckley are amazing to cut wool!
• Creative Stitching by Sue Spargo is a great book for stitches and wool applique (a good to have book, sold here)
