The "Freestyle Sashiko Jean Jacket" workshop is tailored for anyone (newbies to seasoned stitchers) eager to explore traditional Japanese slow stitching with expert guidance. Gain hands-on experience stitching your own creations onto a jean jacket, enhancing both its durability and style. This class balances technical instruction with creative expression, providing a supportive environment to build foundational skills in Sashiko embroidery.
Workshop
When? October 21st and 28th from 5:30 - 8:30 pm
Where? The Needle & Thread Emporium
688 Storyland Rd, Renfrew (in the store, green house)

6 participants are required for this workshop. I will issue a refund on Oct 21st if I am unable to fill this workshop.
What Is Included:
- workshop (as per above)
- refreshments
- 2 skeins of Sashiko Thread by Olympus in your choice of colours
- 1 needle
You will Need/Please bring to class:
- 1 jean jacket (thrift shop, Value Village etc)
- pencil, eraser
- paper/ringed book of paper from the Dollar Store - preferrably blank, not lined or graphed to do some simple sketches, warm ups
- thimbles (not necessary but a good to have)
